The Men's Club Championship at the HGCC was once again competed for during the August Long Weekend, which is back in its recent traditional location on the calendar. There were also some minor changes to the flighting of the event, as the Captain's Committee continues to try and make a fair and equitable event. This year in fact marked the first year that a Net Flight was added to the Men's Draw, and by all accounts it was well received.

A Day to Celebrate

Senior Chairman Gord Thompson's birthday... a glorious summer day, a championship golf course in pristine condition, excellent shot making by some, not all, what a better way for the young at heart to celebrate.

Enjoy a day of golf and fun with your guests. The theme this year is "La Dolce Vita." The day includes a gift for your guests, golf, team and skill prizes, a raffle and 4-course plated dinner (gourmet Italian). $125 per person. The field is open to one guest per member.
